About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Performance QA Engineer to join our team and ensure our applications deliver optimal performance, scalability, and reliability under various load conditions.
You will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing performance tests to identify bottlenecks and drive performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for web applications, APIs, and microservicesDevelop and maintain performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, or K6Analyze system performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and provide actionable recommendationsCollaborate with development teams to establish performance benchmarks and SLAsMonitor application performance in production and conduct root cause analysis for performance issuesCreate and maintain performance test automation frameworks and CI/CD integrationGenerate detailed performance test reports with insights and recommendationsConduct capacity planning and provide scalability assessmentsWork with DevOps teams to optimize infrastructure and resource utilizationStay updated with industry best practices and emerging performance testing tools
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)3-5 years of experience in performance testing and engineeringStrong proficiency with performance testing tools (JMeter)Experience with monitoring tools (AppDynamics,Grafana, prometheus or similar)Solid understanding of performance testing methodologies and best practicesKnowledge of web technologies, APIs, microservices architecture, and databasesExperience with scripting languages (Python, JavaScript, Groovy, or similar)Understanding of system architecture, networking, and infrastructure conceptsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders
