<p><p><b>Description : </b><br/><br/><b>Key Responsibilities : </b><br/><br/><b>Leadership & Mentoring : </b><br/><br/>- Lead a team of Java developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise.<br/><br/>- Facilitate effective communication across teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals.<br/><br/>- Conduct code reviews, ensuring high-quality standards, and provide constructive feedback.<br/><br/>- Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, and other stakeholders to define technical requirements.<br/><br/><b>Design & Architecture : </b><br/><br/>- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and high-performance Java applications.<br/><br/>- Define and maintain application architecture, ensuring consistency and scalability.<br/><br/>- Lead architectural discussions and decisions, ensuring solutions meet business requirements and technical specifications.<br/><br/><b>Development & Coding : </b><br/><br/>- Write clean, efficient, and reusable Java code using best practices.<br/><br/>- Ensure that solutions adhere to coding standards and follow industry best practices for performance, security, and scalability.<br/><br/>- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services and applications.<br/><br/>- Leverage Java frameworks and tools such as Spring, Hibernate, and Maven to build applications.<br/><br/><b>Continuous Improvement : </b><br/><br/>- Drive continuous improvement in development processes, tools, and methodologies.<br/><br/>- Keep up to date with new technologies, frameworks, and tools in the Java ecosystem and evaluate their potential benefits.<br/><br/>- Promote DevOps practices and help implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.<br/><br/><b>Problem Solving & Troubleshooting : </b><br/><br/>- Analyze and troubleshoot issues in production environments.<br/><br/>- Optimize existing systems and resolve performance bottlenecks.<br/><br/>- Ensure that solutions are designed with reliability, maintainability, and extensibility in mind.<br/><br/><b>Qualifications : </b><br/><br/>- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).<br/><br/>- 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Java and related technologies.<br/><br/>- Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Senior Developer, or Software Engineer in Java-based application development.<br/><br/>- Expertise in Java frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, and Spring Boot.<br/><br/>- Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms.<br/><br/>- Strong Experience in Kafka, RabbitMQ, Postgres.<br/><br/>- Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).<br/><br/>- Familiarity with tools such as Maven, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.<br/><br/>- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).<br/><br/>- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.<br/><br/>- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
