<p><p>We are looking for a skilled and passionate SDE III Backend Engineer to join our growing engineering team.<br/><br/> You will play a key role in building and scaling our B2B KYC platform by developing and enhancing microservices, APIs, and core backend functionalities.<br/><br/> If you enjoy solving complex problems, mentoring others, and working in fast paced environments, we'd love to meet :</b></p><p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Design, develop, and maintain robust microservices and backend components.<br/><br/></p><p>- Create and maintain well documented APIs and queue contracts for interservice communication.<br/><br/></p><p>- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering Leads to implement scalable and maintainable features.<br/><br/></p><p>- Contribute to all stages of the software development lifecycle : planning, design, coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.<br/><br/></p><p>- Guide junior developers on engineering best practices like TestDriven Development (TDD), clean code, and effective debugging.<br/><br/></p><p>- Continuously contribute to team knowledge sharing and upskilling :</b></p><p><b><br/></b></p>- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.<br/><br/></p><p>- 6+ years of experience in software development, preferably with Node.js or similar technologies.<br/><br/></p><p>- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, algorithms, data structures, and software design principles.<br/><br/></p><p>- Experience building distributed and highly available systems at scale.<br/><br/></p><p>- Hands-on experience with event driven platforms using technologies like Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, etc.<br/><br/></p><p>- Familiarity with cloud environments and containerization tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, or GCP.<br/><br/></p><p>- Proficiency in asynchronous programming patterns and performance optimization techniques.<br/><br/></p><p>- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and experience working in Agile environments.<br/><br/></p><p>- Strong problem solving skills and ability to debug and resolve complex production issues.</p><br/></p> (ref:hirist.tech)
